Polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) is a high-rigidity, high-molecular crystalline polymer with excellent performance, wide application and outstanding performance:

1. Excellent heat resistance, its heat deformation temperature exceeds 260 ℃, and the long-term use temperature is 220-240 ℃. It degrades at 700 ℃ in air and still maintains 40% of its weight at 1000 ℃ in inert gas. Its short-term heat resistance and long-term continuous thermal stability are better than all current engineering plastics.

2. It has flame retardancy, and its flame retardancy can reach UL94V-0 level. No flame retardant is needed when making flame retardant products, and the high mechanical properties of the material itself are maintained.

3. Good mechanical properties, extremely strong rigidity, high surface hardness, and excellent creep resistance and fatigue resistance.

4. Excellent chemical resistance. No solvent has been found that can dissolve PPS below 200°C. It is also highly resistant to inorganic acids, alkalis and salts.

5. Good dimensional stability, small molding shrinkage, low water absorption, and small linear thermal expansion coefficient. It still shows good dimensional stability under high temperature or high humidity conditions. Therefore, it has a wide range of uses in machinery, chemical industry, instrumentation, aerospace and other fields.

6. Excellent electrical properties, even under high temperature, high humidity and high frequency conditions.

7. Outstanding wear resistance. By filling lubricants such as fluororesin and carbon fiber, its wear resistance can be greatly improved.

8. Radiation resistance, measuring 1 × 10^8 Gy, is unmatched by other engineering plastics and is an excellent material in the fields of electronic instruments, aerospace, etc.

9. The melt viscosity of PPS resin is very low, and its fluidity is good. It is very easy to wet and contact with glass fiber and various fillers. The glass fiber or inorganic filler reinforced injection molding grade granules prepared with it have extremely high elongation resistance, impact resistance, bending resistance and ductility.

10. PPS has very high bonding strength to glass, aluminum, stainless steel, etc. The bonding strength to glass is even greater than the cohesive force of glass. Due to its good corrosion resistance and bonding properties, it is very easy to make the lining of Huagong equipment.

11. Due to the excellent corrosion resistance of PPS, it is not easy to bond, and ultrasonic welding is the best bonding method.
