PEEK strips for filter press packing
PEEK strips are used in PTA industry – filter press packing
PTA is the abbreviation of purified terephthalic acid, which is a lower-end product of petroleum. It is a white powdery crystal at room temperature and is easier to store and transport than liquid chemicals. Petroleum undergoes a certain process to produce naphtha (also known as light gasoline), and MX (mixed xylene) is extracted from naphtha, and then PX (paraxylene) is extracted to produce PTA.
In the PTA industry chain, PTA is the end product of petroleum and at the same time it is the front-end product of chemical fiber. In other words, PTA is the watershed between the petrochemical and chemical fiber industry chains, connecting the past and the future.
PEEK layering is made of pure PEEK5600G, which is resistant to high temperature of 300°C, corrosion, acetic acid, AT acid, etc., and has high strength.
PEEK performance advantages:
High-performance plastic parts such as high-temperature wear-resistant sleeves, insulating rings, front and rear plugs made of PEEK and its modified composite materials can replace traditional materials such as copper alloys, stainless steel, polytetrafluoroethylene, ordinary engineering plastics, graphite, etc., and meet the stringent technical requirements of oil logging and mining equipment for parts such as wear resistance, high temperature resistance, high strength, oil-free lubrication, acid and alkali corrosion, and high reliability. It can reduce operating costs and help the equipment to produce continuously and stably at high capacity.
