1. Overview of PEEK Pan-plug Seal

Pan-plug seal is also called spring energy storage seal ring. The appropriate elastic force of the spring plus the pressure of the system makes the sealing material deform and close to the sealed parts, so as to achieve a continuous sealing effect.

For harsh working conditions, traditional materials are difficult to meet the continuous sealing effect of pan-plug seal. Junhua Co., Ltd. has developed a high-toughness, high-modulus, low-friction PEEK material, namely PEEK7600G, based on the technology of high temperature, high pressure, low temperature and corrosion resistance, and extruded corresponding specifications of pipes!

PEEK7600G has high modulus, high toughness, low friction, self-lubrication, high and low temperature resistance, fatigue resistance, hydrolysis resistance, and corrosion resistance. It can be used normally at a temperature of 260°C, and can also be used normally under working conditions of minus 70°C. It is widely used in oil extraction, chemical industry, aerospace and other fields, and is one of the preferred materials for pan-plug seals under harsh working conditions.

3. Application fields of PEEK7600G Pan-plug

Petroleum and petrochemical industry
PEEK Pan-plug seals are often used in oil drilling, oil field development and other work, which can effectively seal the wellhead and prevent oil and gas leakage.

Aerospace industry
PEEK Pan-plug seals can be used to prevent high-temperature gas and flames from invading the air gap of the rocket launcher to ensure the safe launch of the rocket; they can also be used to make seals for aircraft doors, wings and flight control surfaces.

Automotive industry
PEEK Pan-plug seals can effectively isolate the vibration and noise between the exhaust pipe and the chassis, and improve the comfort in the car; it can be used to seal components such as the hood, doors and trunk to avoid the intrusion of water vapor and noise; it can also be used to seal the brake system to ensure that the brake fluid does not leak.
