This time, in response to the needs of customers in the food packaging and beverage filling machinery industry and the pharmaceutical machinery industry, Junhua PEEK outsourced PEEK products to be tested for phthalates (18 phthalates).
Definition and Application of Phthalates
Phthalate esters, also known as phthalic acid esters, abbreviated as PAEs, are a general term for esters formed by phthalic acid. (In short, it is a type of plasticizer). Phthalate esters are mainly used in polyvinyl chloride materials, turning polyvinyl chloride from hard plastic to elastic plastic, acting as a plasticizer.
It is commonly used in hundreds of products such as toys, food packaging materials, medical blood bags and hoses, vinyl floors and wallpapers, cleaners, lubricants, personal care products (such as nail polish, hair spray, soap and shampoo), etc., but it poses serious harm to human health.

02. Results of 18 outsourced tests on phthalates
Jiangsu Junhua’s outsourced testing of phthalate content showed that the results were in compliance with the requirements and contained no phthalates (see the test report below).
The test results show that PEEK products do not contain phthalates (18 items of phthalates), which means that the raw materials and auxiliary materials used by Junhua PEEK do not contain phthalates, will not cause harm to the human body, and customers can use them with confidence.
