2. PEEK has a small shrinkage rate during injection molding, which is very beneficial for controlling the dimensional tolerance range of PEEK injection molded parts, making the dimensional accuracy of PEEK parts much higher than that of general plastics;
3. The thermal expansion coefficient is small. With the change of temperature (which may be caused by the change of ambient temperature or the friction heat generated during operation), the size of PEEK parts changes very little;
4. Good dimensional stability. The dimensional stability of engineering plastics refers to the dimensional stability of engineering plastic products during use or storage. This dimensional change is mainly caused by the increase in the activation energy of polymer molecules, which causes the chain segments to curl to a certain extent;
5. PEEK has outstanding resistance to thermal hydrolysis and has very low water absorption in high temperature and high humidity environments. It will not experience significant changes in size due to water absorption like general-purpose plastics such as nylon;
