Injection Molded PFNA
Components: Handle, Remote Module, Proximal Module
Material: PEEK5600CF30 (30% carbon fiber reinforced)
Scope of application: proximal femur fracture
Molding process: PEEK5600CF30 injection molding blank shape, CNC machining holes and reference surface
Features and advantages:
1: Compared with the traditional aluminum-oxidized PFNA, the PEEK-molded PFNA will not have the oxide layer fall off.
2: PFNA made of PEEK is X-ray-transmissive, making surgery more intuitive and reducing surgical risks
3: PEEK has low density and is lighter, making it easier for doctors to operate.
4: PEEK has better chemical resistance than aluminum alloy and can accept more solvent sterilization methods
5: The PFNA processed by injection molding process has a short cycle, low cost, and is more suitable for mass production.
shortcoming:
1: The poor fluidity of the material makes injection molding difficult, and the tool wear is serious during processing.
2: After the material is heat treated, if the processing technology is unreasonable, it is easy to cause processing deformation
