PEI thin rod

Product Overview:

PEI (polyetherimide) products are extremely suitable for electrical and electronic insulation (including many semiconductor process components), as well as a series of structural parts. These parts require high strength and rigidity at high temperatures. Due to its good resistance to hydrolysis, PEI can withstand repeated high-pressure steam sterilization.

1. High working temperature in air (continuous 170°C)

2. Good hydrolysis resistance (suitable for repeated steam sterilization)

3. High strength and hardness in a wide temperature range

4. Inherent low flammability during combustion, and extremely low level of smoke diffusion during combustion

5. Good dimensional stability

6. Physiological inertness (suitable for food contact)

7. High energy radiation resistance (gamma- and X-rays)
